RequirementsThe purpose of Pawsitive Adventures is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment for dogs during weekday business hours. To ensure the safety and health of all animals and staff at Pawsitive Adventures, we require all clients to comply with the following rules and regulations: Policies & RegulationsMust have a meet and greet day before daycare or boarding AGE: No puppies permitted under the age of 9 weeks. Puppies less than 12 weeks of age must have at least 2 rounds of Distemper shots. Please note that puppies younger than 12 weeks (or with less than 3 full rounds of Distemper vaccinations) are subject to weaker immune systems. SEX:All dogs must be spayed or neutered by the age of 7 months. VACCINATIONS:Up-to-date vaccinations must be supplied at time of initial interview. Proof of Bordetalla, Rabies, and DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parafluenza, and Parvo) are required. Rabies is required for all dogs 4 ½ months and older. HEALTH:All dogs must be in good health. By admitting your dog to daycare, you certify that your dog is in good health and has not been ill with a communicable disease in the last 28 days. Any dog that has had a communicable disease in the last 28 days will be required to submit veterinarian certification that the dog is in good health and not contagious from infectious viral disease before being admitted to daycare. In addition Pawsitive Adventures is not liable for any viruses or diseases. We recommend that all dogs be on a monthly heart preventative and flea and tick preventative to ensure they are parasite free. INJURY/DEATH:Pawsitive Adventures and Arbex Holdings Ltd (property holder) shall not be liable for illness, injuries to or death of your dog or any human participant or spectator while training, boarding and daycare activities are taking place. You (the owner) understand that dogs can be unpredictable and accept the risks associated with activities involving dogs. BEHAVIOUR:Dogs must be non-aggressive and show minimal signs of food or toy possessiveness. By admitting your dog to daycare, you certify that your dog has not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behaviour towards any person or any other dog(s). Please understand that your dog will be interacting with other dogs and that the safety and health of all dogs is our main concern. Possible exceptions can be made at the sole discretion of Pawsitive Adventures. CANCELLATIONS:Cancellations must be received by 3pm the business day prior to bringing your dog for training.
